This course was designed by Jack Nicklaus, and opened in 1993. It has gained a reputation of being one of the finest courses in Thailand, and is now established as a golfers must while in Hua Hin or Cha-am.
The course its self has been designed to meet the needs of a championship course, but maintains an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all standards. Starting with a par 4 the first hole is a gentle 367 yards from the white tee, and on appearance looks to be quite simple. Hopes can quickly fade, as the well protected green can prove difficult & requires accuracy. Overall with the cleverly devised layout, views over streams, lakes & the gulf of Thailand, you will find this course very addictive.
Springfield offers other first class facilities apart from the course. The club house was constructed in an elevated position that will leave you with a lasting impression. The interior is beautifully finished in polished marble & granite, and portrays a feeling of opulence associated with grand palaces.
An additional 9 holes was opened in 2005 which is not proving to be as popular as the original 18 hole track.

Palm Hills was the first of a new generation of courses to open in 1991. And was the first course in Hua Hin to stage the Thailand World Pro Am in 1993 gaining much praise from the British PGA.
80 meters above Sea level the rolling & gently undulating fairways provide Palm Hills with it’s own individual identity. The only exception to the gentle terrain is on the 10th hole, where a semi-blind tee shot is encountered from the side of an imposing limestone mountain. Water is also a hazard especially on the 2nd, 8th, 11th and 14th holes. "toppers" beware!
Being a "new generation" course, Palm Hills has great clubhouse facilities. Thai-style design with American-style facilities for the golfer who requires more than just a round, the Country Club offers a large swimming pool, Tennis, badminton & squash courts, and a fully equipped Gymnasium for the really energetic. Palm Hills is now a booming real-estate location, offering some of the best investment opportunities in Hua Hin

Inland through small farms & pineapple plantations Lake View is another example of the quality of Golf Courses in and around Hua Hin. The design of this championship course conveys a sense of adventure. Hidden greens, mature palm trees and well defined fairways are on offer throughout this course, and spot decisions have to be made from the opening hole, as potential problems lie ahead. Easy par’s are on offer for those of us that want to take them. How adventurous are you feeling? This course also offers a test for courage and putting expertise.
Lake view has a par of 72 and a championship length of more than 6900 yards from the back trees. This course offers exciting and demanding play for the experienced golfer, but will also accommodate the occasional enthusiast.

In the public area of Cha Am Beach is the place where you can see many kind of activities such as Jet Ski , Banana boat (favorite for teenager groups) etc. Sometime you can feel it’s too crowded on weekend as it is a popular place for Thais spending family time together on beach, mostly parents sit and enjoy food at beach chairs and watching the kids enjoy in the water.
You can get a rental bike, ride it along to the end northern and southern part. There are so many shops set up by day along the foot path, provide rental bike and motorbike. (Average is 40 Baht / hour for bike and 150B / hour for motorbike) It is one of popular activities here with many kinds of bike.

The trip takes approximately 5-6 hours to complete, depending on the current. The route passes lush forests and a Karen hill tribe Village. Phetchaburi is well known as a province that produces several kinds of delicious desserts such as khanom mo kaeng (semilar to pudding, made of crushed steamed mong bean, egg, cocount milk and sugar which is, after well mixed, baked under the charcoal fire) khao kriap (dried pastry sheet having coconut, sugar and sesame as ingredients and has to be grilled on a charcoal fire before serving) honey baked banana fruits toffee kluai khai (small banana having sweeter flavour) etc. Visitors can buy those local products both in town and long Phetch Kasem road side and Khao Wang area for consumption and/or as souvenir.
Phetchaburi is also famous for its fruits especially rose-apples and Iamuts (sapodillas) besides, there are mangoes, tamarinds oranges and kluai khai (small bananas having sweeter flavour).
